…the group relishes the chance to show others how inspiring and healing music can be.”

Quality Entertainment! Quality Fun!

National Festival

County Connection is a rapidly growing 50-member women's a cappella chorus from Ypsilanti, Michigan. We are a non-profit community chorus - affiliated with Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide singing organization for women - and provide fun, exciting, and innovative entertainment with a variety of music sung in 4-part harmony.

County Connection seems to have found a perfect blend and balance of people and activities, of tradition and innovation.  The chorus strives for being the best singers we can be both individually and as an ensemble, and thrive on education and experiences that expand our knowledge and skills as singers and performers.  But we are also a fun loving team... or maybe describing us as a fun loving family is more accurate, who understand the importance of laughter and friendship.

“Singing without accompaniment in four-part harmony, they create a powerful,
colorful
sound while performing old favorites in American music.”
--Stephanie Kadel-Taras, Independent Times, April 2005

Let your voice be heard and SING! We would love to have you be a part of our team. Visitors are welcome at any chorus rehearsal. We meet Tuesdays at 7 PM at the UAW Local 898 at 8975 Textile Rd. in Ypsilanti.
